Flirty or Dirty Seconds

Contents:
The package includes a 30-second sand timer, a die, and cards.

Principle:
If more than two people are playing, split into two or more equal teams. Shuffle the cards and place them on the table. Each card has 6 FLIRTY and 6 DIRTY words written on it. On your turn, you roll the die. The die can land on blue, pink, a mix of blue and pink, or skip. Here’s what each one means:
1. If it lands on blue, that means you have to describe the FLIRTY words, and the opposing team has 30 seconds to guess as many of those words as possible. The time is measured using the sand timer.
2. If it lands on pink, the same principle applies, except you describe the DIRTY words.
3. If it lands on a mix of blue and pink, then you get to choose whether you’ll describe FLIRTY words or DIRTY words.
4. If SKIP comes up, that’s the best outcome for you — you skip your turn, which means your opponent loses the chance to guess words and earn points.

Starting the game:
The game starts with the team that has the oldest participant.

Ending the game:
At the start, decide in advance how many rounds you want to play. The best approach is to agree from the beginning that you’ll play 5 rounds. When the turn of the team that started the game comes up for the sixth time, you hold a vote — whether to continue playing or stop. If the majority decides to continue, you then play 2 more rounds before voting again. This way, no one feels like the game will drag on endlessly, and everyone stays more engaged.

For each word guessed correctly, the team earns one point. If, within the given 30 seconds, a miracle happens and the team guesses all six out of six words, the points are doubled and the team scores 12 points.

At the end of the game, the winner is the individual or team with the highest score.
The card must be drawn by the same player who rolls the die.
